Olay Body #OneWashWonder

A few days ago, a parcel was sent to me via Xend and it was from BDJ.

It was the new Olay Skin Whitening Bar with Rose and Milk.

This will be the first ever review I’m gonna be making.

Okay. I’m not really good at this, but I’ll just give you my own thoughts based on my experience in using this product. I’d like to use the 3 senses: sight, smell, and touch to talk about the product.

Let’s get started.

SIGHT

The bar is packed in a pink and white box, which has a picture of a rose and milk, which gives it a super feminine look. The bar is pink; it’s such an eye candy it looks super pretty.

SMELL

As soon as I opened the box, I could smell its sweet floral scent! Even the cards smelled good! I really like using it because the scent lasts a long time and it makes you feel fresh for hours.

TOUCH

The bar itself is smooth and it lathers on your body easily. What I like about is that it gives you that “squeaky clean” feeling after a bath. My skin feels soft each time I use it.

Now, my comments on their ads:

– Natural White Skin From First Use

Well, I’m naturally tanned so, I can’t say yes to this. But I can say that I think my skin looks quite lighter because it’s thoroughly cleaned. Maybe if I keep using it, I’ll be able to see more changes.

– Gently exfoliates your skin and washes away dead skin cells.

I have some peeling on my elbows, but when I started using this soap, the skin softened and on my second use, the annoying dead skin was gone. No more peeling on my elbows. So maybe, it did work. 🙂

– Evens skin tone to make it look clean and clear.

I can say yes to this. My skin does look cleaner.

FINAL THOUGHTS.

I love the smell, because it’s really refreshing. It makes me feel clean for hours, even after sweating in a humid day. I don’t usually trust ads about whitening cream or soap or lotion, because it never worked on me. Besides, I’m not really aiming for a whiter complexion. I just want to even out my skin tone, to lighten the dark areas, and to feel fresh for hours.

I can say that this is a new favorite of mine, next to Avon Naturals Exfoliating Bar.
