If you have been following me on Instagram or on YouTube, you would know that I was one of the lucky BFF’s who won amazing Korean beauty products from YEF Philippines.
Most of the makeup products that we received are from the brand called Karadium. Karadium has been in the market since 2010 offering unique products that become international bestsellers. Their products are also paraben-free!
Thanks to YEF, I’ve been able to use these amazing products! Now, let’s get on with the review! 😉
Collagen Moisture 2-Way Cake Foundation in #23

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩26,000 (around P1,147)
- YEF PH website: P480 (reg. price: P1,083)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion.)
Just like any other two-way cake foundation, this can be used wet or dry. It has a round mirror that’s the same size as the compact itself. Like a Korean BB cushion, it has a separate pan for the puff.
It gives off a better coverage and a smooth-looking skin when used wet. If you’re going for a longer-lasting coverage, this is the way to go. Simply wet the puff or any sponge of your choice, then squeeze out the water before applying it onto the skin.
For dry application, this foundation is good for setting your liquid or cream foundation. I think the finish is too powdery so using a mist afterwards will be a good idea. It can also be used as it is for a light coverage.
Since most Korean foundations or BB creams are light, No. 23, which is the darkest, is still quite light for me. I always have to use a bronzing powder or a darker powder to neutralize the color.
As for the scent, it is really subtle, so it’s okay for those who are quite sensitive with odors.
I like how this looks on my skin once it sets. It also does not make my face too oily after hours. It kinda gives my skin a healthy dewy look. I also love the fact that it has SPF 25 PA++, protecting my skin from the sun. It also has anti-sebum properties that help absorb excess oil.

Cream Cheek Stick in No. 5 Shading

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩25,000 (around P1,101)
- YEF PH website: P520 (reg. price: P1,042)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
This product has five shades:
- #1 Indie Pink (blush)
- #2 Warm Coral (blush)
- #3 Soft Peach (blush)
- #4 Highlighter
- #5 Shading
The shade that I’ve got is for contouring. But since I, like most Filipinos, have tanned skin, this will not give enough definition on the face. It will only give a really subtle effect, which isn’t bad if you’re going for a natural look.
I really love the packaging and the fact that it comes with a flat top brush, which is placed on the other end of the product. Super convenient! The product itself is soft and creamy that it glides smoothly and blends nicely.

Flat Eyebrow Pencil in No. 4 Gray Brown

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩8,000 (around P352)
- YEF PH website: P220 (reg. price: P333)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
Initially, I didn’t think I’d like this shade because I normally used dark brown on my brows. It turned out that it was just fine, since my eyebrows are naturally black. It isn’t as dark as black, but it’s definitely good for filling in my brows.
It’s an angled pencil, which I think is perfect for natural brow makeup, so it doesn’t create harsh lines nor does it clump my brow hairs. It can be used alone or with other brow products such as gel, pomade, or powder.
It also comes with a spoolie, which is on the other end of the pencil. It makes doing my brows convenient, since I don’t need to bring a separate spoolie when I travel.
The only downside is the fact that it is a retractable pencil; once it breaks, it IS broken. I may put the broken pencil back into the tube, but it won’t securely stay put. If worse comes to worst, I lose that pencil… then, bye, bye!
Well, I guess I just have to be extra careful with it. 😉
Here are the other shades:
- #1 Black Brown
- #2 Dark Brown
- #3 Real Brown
- #4 Gray Brown
- #5 Light Brown

Shining Pearl Eyeshadow Stick in No. 6 Chocolate Brown

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩15,000 (around P661)
- YEF PH website: P360 (reg. price: P625)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
This is perfect for those who are always on-the-go! With its pen-type retractable eyeshadow that has a really smooth texture, you won’t need high makeup skills to apply it. You won’t also need to bring a separate brush or mess up your finger because it already comes with a sponge tip for blending.
As seen in the photo above, it comes in 10 shades, and mine is the 6th one from the left – Chocolate Brown. What I do is apply it on my entire lid, just beneath my crease. Then, I blend it out with the sponge blender. I want to intensify the crease area so I focus on it more. Then, blend it out again.
This shade can be used alone or with other makeup products. It’s also good for days when I want a natural look. It looks better with a nice eyeliner, too!
The other shades look really pretty, I might try and get some.
The names of the shades are:
- # 1 Snow White
- #2 Ice Pink
- #3 Orange Marmalade
- #4 Gold Night
- #5 Honey Beige
- #6 Chocolate Brown
- #7 Daily Brown
- #8 Caramel Gold
- #9 Rose Gold
- #10 Reddish Pink

On the Top Fiber Curling Mascara

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩16,000 (around P705)
- YEF PH website: P667 (reg. price: P320)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
This mascara has two variants: curling and volume. Take a look at the photo above. Notice that the wands are different from each other. The one with the curled wand is for curling, (obviously); while the one on the right, the thicker one, is for volume.
I LOOOVE this mascara. The formula is so good that it does not clump my eyelashes. The curled wand is thin enough that it can reach the extremities. I usually find it hard to apply mascara on the lashes near the corner of my eyes, but this product has made it a lot easier. As well as with my lower lashes, the application requires little effort.
One thing that I don’t like about it is, it tends to smudge. I have very oily skin that’s why I prefer using waterproof mascaras and eyeliners. When my face oils up and the lashes touch the skin, it smudges and creates black patches on my under eye and the outer corners. If I had dry skin, I don’t think it would be a problem.

Oh My Lips in No. 1 Deep Red

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩14,000 (around P617)
- YEF PH website: P340 (reg. price: P583)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
The packaging of this lipstick is A-OK! Ingenious! Instead of the usual pull-up cap, it has a twist-up cap! Yes, you twist the cap to open, and just twist again to lock it. No more messy pouches or bags! No more dented or broken lippies!
The product itself is really pigmented. I can create a bold look by applying it evenly on my entire lips. To create a “naturally bitten lips” look, I concentrate on the inner center of my lower lip then smudge it with a brush or my finger to cover the rest of my lips. This creates a gradient look – dark in the center and light on the edges.
It’s so creamy it effortlessly slides on my lips and blends beautifully. It does not settle in the lines or crevices or in the dry areas. Like any other cream lipsticks, it is not transfer-proof or smudge-proof.
It has 6 shades:
- #1 Deep Red
- #2 Orange Red
- #3 Tangerine
- #4 Royal Pink
- #5 Peachy Pink
- #6 Pink Beige
- #7 Pink Balm

Real Water Puff

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩10,000 (around P441)
- YEF PH website: P270 (reg. price: P417)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
Another Karadium product that I loooove! This puff is so good that you won’t think it’s inexpensive. It’s in a bottle gourd shape, which I find more convenient than the teardrop shape. The inner curves make holding it easier and more secure. IMO!
This puff almost doubles in size when damp. It’s really soft it gently bounces on my face, blending my makeup well without hurting my skin.
The tip reaches the curves and crevices of my face, just like what we all expect from any other beauty sponges.
I haven’t tried a Beauty Blender yet, so I don’t really know the difference. But I can compare it with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. To be honest, I find both of them effective and I think they work pretty much the same. The difference, apparently, are their shapes.

They also have a cute collaboration with Pucca, which is a super cute collection! It’s the Karadium x Pucca.
Pucca Shine Eyeshadow in No. 4 Antique Shine

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩16,000 (around P705)
- YEF PH website: P299 (reg. price: P690)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
First of all, it has a really cute packaging. With a transparent cover with Pucca printed on it, this compact single eyeshadow is truly an eye-catcher.
It comes in six pretty shades:
- #1 Beige Shine
- #2 Gold Shine
- #3 Flower Shine
- #4 Antique Shine
- #5 Sunshine
- #6 Smoky Shine
Notice that all shades are really close to skin tones; they are intended to make our eyes look pretty but still gravitate towards natural look. It’s really soft and does not dry our sensitive eyelids. It also lasts throughout the day without creasing.
I love how buttery it feels and does not have a lot of kickback when using a brush. It gives off a proper amount of pigmentation with both brush and finger.
This can be used as it is, but it can also be used along with other makeup products.

Pucca Pen Eyeliner in Black

*Price:
- Karadium website: ₩14,000 (around P617)
- YEF PH website: P290 (reg. price: P583)
(*May vary depending on KRW to PHP conversion; may be lower during PROMOS/SALE)
This, among everything I received, is my most favorite! The packaging is super cute! It looks like a pen. The container is thicker than the usual eyeliners, so I find it easier to control because it just feels like any other regular pens.
It has a really soft tip making the application super easy. It’s like an art brush pen; I can create thick or thin lines effortlessly. It is an ink-tank type so the product is dispensed evenly, preventing the eyeline from cutting-off. The formulation is stunning, but make sure you shake it well to get the full pigmentation.
This eyeliner holds up pretty well since it’s waterproof, but it can’t withstand the oiliness of my face during hot and humid weather. The good thing about it, though, is that re-application is not a problem. I just re-apply when the color fades off and it looks perfect again.
