[[CLOSED]] #RIXMUKAPat1 GIVEAWAY! (1 year after the “Power of Makeup” video!)

This time last year, I finally took courage to embrace my love for makeup by creating a separate account dedicated only to beauty.

Not only that, I posted my first ever makeup video on YouTube.

For years, I had restricted myself from trying to look good. I was one of those mothers who DGAF about how they looked, as long as their kids were properly clothed. Not only that, I was in that crazy time in my life when grooming was considered flirting or prettying for another person. That was also the time I’d hardly buy anything for myself. I had no balls to even stand for myself. Not that I wanted one. Haha!

But then tables were turned and my pain led me to a blessing. I got to be ME again. Then again, who WAS I? Little by little, I took my baby steps to knowing myself deeply and to savoring my freedom to embrace my individuality.

Fast forward to 2010 or 2011, I discovered my first makeup heroine – MICHELLE PHAN. I can still remember the first video I clicked. It was her Lady Gaga’s Poker Face makeup tutorial. I was so amazed by the magic of makeup!

Few more months passed, and I began playing with makeup. I started with brands I could easily get. I even used the so-called ‘SG Authentic’ eyeshadows.

And the rest is history. 🙂

Fast forward to NOW. I’ve posted 590 photos on my beauty IG account, as of the moment, and a number of makeup videos on YouTube. I’ve done a few mini giveaways, too!

It’s made with recycled material! I only opened it to take photos, and for my unboxing video (SC Beauty Box), but it’s never been used. So excuse the opened packaging.
  7. Watson’s Volumizing Treatment Conditioner – This one has beer for fine and thinning hair. This will strengthen and nourish your hair.

8. I’m also going to include 1 Transformation Palette from Make Up World PH! I looove this palette because it’s got 8 eyeshadow shades, 8 lipstick shades, and 2 blush shades! The colors are so versatile you can mix and match to create an every day look or a dramatic evening look.

9. For hitting 600 subbies, I’m adding 5 Boom Deah Dah face masks! There’s one for brightening, two for moisture, one for firming, and one for nourishing. They’re some of my favorites!

    Ps. Power of Make up? Eto po yung lahat ng imperfections ko sa mukha (acne/blemishes, dark circles, uneven skintone, dark under eye) lahat ng mga yon, natatakpan ng prouducts na ina-apply ko sa tuwing nagme-make up ako. Hindi nito binabago itchura bagkus, ini-enhance pa nya lalo ito.

    “Power of Makeup” enhances beauty, and boosts confidence. it’s a form of self-expression and shows one’s creativity. it’s not about hiding the real you or being insecure, it’s about wanting to look your best and enhancing your features and being happy and confident. you don’t wear makeup to please anyone, you wear it for yourself. and that is the power of makeup.

        Simple lang para sakin yung before muka kang katulong then after makeup dyosa ka na! hahaha! Power of makeup boost our confidence and make us more beautiful pero hindi lang un naniniwala ako na khit sangkatutak pa na makeup ang ilagay mo sa mukha mo kung panget ang ugali mo lalabas pa din ang tunay na anyo mo. haha mas ok pa din maging mganda inside and outside.

  26. Nung high school ako hindi talaga ako gumagamit nuon ng make up kasi nabibigatan yung mukha ko kapag naka make up tsaka nagkaka pimples pero ngayon na malapit na akong grumaduate gumagamit na ako ng make up at kailangan sa pag aapply ng trabaho para medyo presentable tignan.Power Make Up.

    Kung hindi nag asawa at nag nagka anak, hindi matututo mag makeup. ahhaha pero kulang pa din kasi hirap na hirap po talaga ako magkilay. ayawa magpantay eh.. heheh
    Ang laki po talaga ng tulong sa pisikal na ating kaanyuan ang pagmemake up. Maipapakita at ma enhance po nito ang ating kagandahan. At matatakpan din yun mga blemishes na hindi kailangan makita.. Kaya subrang pasasalamat at nauso ang pagmemake up. Kaya mas lalo po tayong gumanda.. charoot…

  29. When I was in high school (a catholic school), teachers would give us hell for wearing makeups or even the slightest pop of color. I considered myself an ugly duckling back then; foundation and lip sticks were the only things that made me feel beautiful and confident. so over the years, I learned the art of applying subtle makeup on my own, so subtle that not even eagle-eyed teachers could notice! Way before the “no makeup” makeup, I had a “no to teacher” makeup. Lol! Nowadays, makeup still makes me feel beautiful and more confident but when I take my makeup off, I’ve learned to love the real me and eliminated the “ugly duckling” idea. Without makeup, I am a beautiful swan BUT with makeup on, I am an even more beautiful, colorful and fabulous peacock. 💖🌻

The message behind the movement is even better than its selfie manifestation, however: Wearing makeup shouldn’t be stigmatized—especially when the woman wearing makeup feels wholly empowered by it.

  33. Makeup is used as an accessory to feel good about ourselves. Lately it is a “crime” to love doing your makeup, but women should not be ashamed for creating different looks. In order to look beautiful, you must first feel beautiful and that starts from within. The power of makeup allows for those annoying blemishes and blackheads that just won’t go away to vanish once a foundation is applied—like magic.

  35. I love the power and wonder of makeup. Absolutely adore it. There is simply nothing that is more transforming or more glamorizing. Makeup is an instant lift and, on certain days, a real lifesaver. Makeup has also made me dear friends with so many women, yet another reason I love what I do. Nothing bonds women faster than a shared tip, a great new color, or some really good advice.
