Hello, my cool friends! How have you been? I’m sorry I haven’t been around for quite a while. But I am back! ❤
So a couple of weeks ago, I decided to create one makeup look per day with the intention of forming a habit of getting things done early and regularly. Also, all my makeup is just sitting in boredom and I don’t want them to expire without me using them up. Most importantly, I aim to improve my makeup skills.
I started the week with glam makeup, until Melody, a friend of mine who’s a MUA and a content creator, suggested a couple of creative looks. Though I used to do a few creative looks before, I wasn’t confident in this area since my skills are still mediocre. But then I remembered the line:
“What doesn’t challenge you won’t change you.”
Since I have been playing Mobile Legends (still a newbie, though), I thought of creating looks that are inspired from some of the heroes.
My first pick was Argus, since he’s my most favorite one and my most used hero.
Next was my favorite Mage, Cyclops. He’s sooo cute, isn’t he?
Third was one of the most annoying opponents in the battlefield, Chang’e. This was supposed to be the last but Mik and Guil gave more suggestions.
Mik suggested Eudora. I thought it would be simple, but boy was I wrong! It took me hours trying to make my lids look like Eudora’s eyes.
Finally, I did Terizla. I liked the look, except for what I did on the forehead. 😪 I took inspiration from Terizla’s armor, but obviously I failed.
I didn’t want to post it but I also didn’t want to miss a day, so I posted it anyway. 😅 Also, I spent time and effort on it. So why waste them?
De’lanci – Mhae Roque’s Palette Review
I am so glad that I have Ms. Mhae Roque‘s palette from De’lanci. Aside from my other colorful eyeshadow palettes, sis Mhae’s palette helped me achieve the looks I was aiming for. This palette has 35 shades with pans that resemble that of Morphe’s.
It is composed of mattes, shimmers, and glitters which all perform so well! I really love the color story. Hands down to sis Mhae for picking great colors! There are reds, blues, greens, yellows, and lovely purple shades. Although I personally think, it would have been so much better if there were a few neutral mattes. If so, I wouldn’t have to reach for my other palettes.
The pigmentation of the matte shades are amazingly up to par. It is not common for eyeshadows with a budget-friendly price tag. They don’t come out patchy when applied and are really blendable so they aren’t difficult to work with. It gives adequate amount of color, so you might wanna dip lightly first if you’re a beginner. That way, you won’t get overwhelmed.
The shimmers also give superb pay-off. They’re reflective and at the same time pigmented. The glitters are super stunning! I love how they adhere so well on my lids. I can pack them on my lids with minimal fallouts and what I love about them is that they don’t move around even when I blink. 👌👏
Final thoughts:
Ms. Mhae Roque’s palette from De’lanci is definitely worth getting, most especially if you like playing around with colors. P1,099 is a reasonable price since the quality is top-notch. In addition, transactions with sis Mhae is smooth and reliable.
