PHOTO DIARY #1: Raiza Contawi’s Beauty Blowout 2018

Date: February 18, 2018
Location: ASPACE Philippines, 5/F 110 Legazpi Street, Makati City

Hey, dear readers aka friends!

I’ve been posting a lot of reviews and unboxing, but I haven’t updated you much about the events I’ve been to. Sadly, I still have not gotten myself into editing all my backlogs and putting them all up on my YouTube channel, but I do hope you’ll watch them once they’re up.

Last February, I was one of the 100 participants in Raiza’s Beauty Blowout. There was a registration fee of only P250 and I locked in 2 slots for me and my +1. The event was held at ASPACE Philippines, which was located on Legazpi Street in Makati. The Meet & Greet was set to start at 2:30. We were actually running late, but I was relieved to see that the attendees were just arriving at that time, too.

We stood in queue at the lobby, then went up to the 5th floor of the building. Then we lined up again for the registration. We waited for maybe more or less half an hour before the event started.

There were lots of fun activities and raffles, and each of us was given some loot from her sponsors. Continue reading “PHOTO DIARY #1: Raiza Contawi’s Beauty Blowout 2018”

#RIKANOBELA: “Sexy knows no age!” CENTURY TUNA Superbods Ageless 2018 Presents the 40 Finalists

Inspired, if not motivated. That was me the entire time seeing the gorgeous and healthy bodies of men and women between the ages of 20 and 50 during the press launch of Century Tuna Superbods Ageless 2018.

I guess I still have hope?! 😅

The 40 gorgeous, fit, and sexy finalists were presented to the media during the VIP Night at the Maybank Performing Arts Theatre in Taguig City. Continue reading “#RIKANOBELA: “Sexy knows no age!” CENTURY TUNA Superbods Ageless 2018 Presents the 40 Finalists”

Mabuhay ang OPM! The Official Nominees for the MYX Music Awards 2018

Among my many interests, I gotta say that music is my first love. Our family loved singing (most especially my father) so we always had to have a microphone or two, and  multiplex – if not minus one – tapes.

Since I grew up at the time when the only “threats” to studies were Nintendo Family Computer, Brick Games (Tetris), teksjolen, and sipa, my favorite past time was singing. Music has been a huge part of my life, but do not expect me to belt like Regine! (WHOOH!)

I have a confession to make: I’m a frustrated singer!

I haven’t listened to many new songs these days, both local and foreign, so it was truly refreshing to have heard new breeds of singers and musicians and their music (and they’re mostly indie) during the media launch of MYX Music Awards 2018.

There, I was able to see local artists such as TJ Monterde, Sassa Dagdag, Glaiza de Castro (whom I shared alone time in the powder room 🤭),  Jona, Shehyee, IV of SPADES, Keiko Necesario, Kaye Cal, Brisom, and Mr. Bones and the Boneyard.

Sassa, Jona, Glaiza de Castro, and TJ Monterde each performed one song. Sassa was the first performer and she sang Itatago na Lang, her second single from her debut album “Sassy Sassa”. Glaiza de Castro performed a Cinderella original, Bato sa Buhangin. TJ Monterde, who has been nominated for the category Male Artist of the Year, performed his single Kahit Kunwari. Finally, Jona (formerly known as Jonalyn Viray) sang Pusong Ligaw, which has been nominated for Media Soundtrack of the Year.

Her voice gave me goosebumps! Continue reading “Mabuhay ang OPM! The Official Nominees for the MYX Music Awards 2018”

What went down at Glamcon MNL 2018

Okay.

First things first, let me just say that I had a wonderful time at Glamcon MNL. It was such an amazing experience for people who were into anything beauty-related, not to mention, a fan of big beauty vloggers.

But first, what is Glamcon MNL? You might as well read this first.

Now that you’ve read it (I hope you really did), you may already know now that this event wasn’t free. There were five tickets available: Queen, Diva, Glitterati, Glamderella, and Glampass. Queen being the most expensive, and Glampass the most affordable. You can see what’s included in each package in my previous post.

To be very honest, I thought the prices cost the earth, so I just relied on fate – that is if I won in a giveaway.

Lucky me, I earned myself a free pass as a blogger – not just one but two Glamderella tickets! (Thanks Ms. Leo My!)  They were just right for me and Guil. The next day, I found out that I won a Diva pass in Ms. Jessica Godinez’s giveaway! Gurrrrrl, I was SHOOOKETH! 😜 Continue reading “What went down at Glamcon MNL 2018”
